शिवहरि धर्म फाउंडेशन ट्रस्ट के बारे में

Our story, our values, our people — and the conviction that drives everything we do.

Our Story

A life of quiet service.
A movement of greater purpose.

Some people wait for the right moment to serve. Shri Shrishti Narayan Jha never did. Having served society throughout his life, he returned to his roots — to the village of Hati, Sarisab Pahi in Madhubani — and began doing what his family had always done: giving. Not from abundance, but from conviction. From his pension. From whatever was at hand.

Warm blankets on cold winter nights. Food served to hundreds at community bhandaras. Scholarships quietly granted so a child's poverty would not determine their future. A marriage hall made available so families who could not afford dignity could still celebrate it. These were not grand gestures. They were the daily practice of a man who believed, simply and deeply, that service is the highest form of Dharma.

In 2023, this personal mission was given its first formal shape — the Hari Narayan Jha & Shiv Narayan Jha Educational and Social Support Trust (Reg. 316/04/23) was established, named in honour of his grandfather Pandit Hari Narayan Jha and great-uncle Pandit Shiv Narayan Jha — revered Sanskrit scholars and philanthropists from Village Hati.

But one truth became increasingly clear: the needs of society are far greater than one family can meet alone. And so in 2026, Shri Jha took a step beyond his roots — establishing Shivhari Dharma Foundation Trust as a public charitable trust, open to all who wish to join a shared mission of care, dignity and opportunity. The two trusts are not in competition. They are companions. The older trust remains the personal, grassroots expression of this family's seva. Shivhari Dharma Foundation Trust is the institutional vehicle through which that seva can reach farther — and invite the wider society to participate.

Two Trusts. One Mission.

The Family Trust

Hari Narayan Jha & Shiv Narayan Jha Educational and Social Support Trust — personal, grassroots, rooted in Mithila. Reg. 316/04/23. Continues to run annual functions, cultural programmes and community service in Hati, Madhubani.

The Public Trust

Shivhari Dharma Foundation Trust — institutional, open to all, built for scale. The vehicle through which the wider society can join this mission of healthcare, education and seva.

"When the heart serves without expectation, the nation transforms one life at a time."

— Shri Shrishti Narayan Jha, Founder & Managing Trustee

Our Roots

Born in Mithila,
shaped by seva

The work of Shivhari Dharma Foundation Trust did not begin in 2026. Its roots go back to 2023, when Shri Shrishti Narayan Jha formally established the Hari Narayan Jha & Shiv Narayan Jha Educational and Social Support Trust — named in honour of the two great ancestors from Village Hati, Sarisab Pahi, Madhubani – 847424, whose legacy of knowledge and service inspired everything.

Under that name, the Trust ran four annual functions, organised community bhandaras, distributed over 1,000 blankets to the poor across successive winters, granted scholarships to deserving students, and felicitated scholars with the Mithila Ratna Samman — building a living tradition of seva in the villages of Madhubani.
